Some of you have asked how I make my jewels glow when creating them in Photoshop. Here's a little tutorial. If you have read the first one on creating a jewel in Photoshop - it's in my gallery. I suggest you start there, then come back to this one. Hope you find it helpful.

I like this tutorial much better. I've passed on to several friends who have all really liked it as well.

I really enjoyed this tutorial, and all of your others LOL. I think I have been through them all now. I have been practicing my jewels and I finally got one I am happy with!! Now to put it all together. Do you start with the fractals and then work around that, or with the pen tool, or the jewels?

Hi again, Auburn...

You wrote... "I really enjoyed this tutorial, and all of your others LOL. I think I have been through them all now. I have been practicing my jewels and I finally got one I am happy with!! Actually I do all three. Sometimes I'll start with a jewel and work out. Sometimes a fractal inspires me, so I begin there. Sometimes I just start doodling with the pen tool and see what happens. :)

As a fractal neophyte this was super helpful, answering questions I had not got around to researching yet. Thanks heaps.
