I love the delicate look of these colours, and that little touch of turquoise is precious. I don't much care for the wood, I kind of feel it's a bit too stark against those delicate tones.I think I might have liked the brown to be a lighter shade. But it's still a beautiful work of art my friend!! Verena
The jewel has a wonderful opalescence and does in fact resemble an opal. Against the woodgrain I think it looks lovely and its beauty is emphasized by the contrast.
