Last night a heavy fog settled over us, leaving a layer of frost crystals on all the trees. When the sun came out this morning, it was quite a sight. Hope you enjoy.

Splendid image, I like the very deep blue of the sky and its contrast with the snow.

Wow what a splendid scene to wake up to. I agree with rob2001 about the blue sky contrasting with the ice/snow crystals. Brilliant!

I love this hoarfrost. I have only ever seen it in reality as thick and as lovely as this and that was many years ago.
This is just delightful - bet it was cold though :)

Nice shot! I love it when it's so crisp and clear and you have the hoarfrost on the trees like this and you captured it wonderfully!

I've never seen this in real life. I just love how caedes (and nathan) provide such imagery.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Ok, we don't get fog here so I assumed on the other photo that it was freezing rain! Wow, beautiful. It must still make the roads dangerously slippery though?

Love this picture and the way the trees show the frost looks like a scene from a movie very nicely done.

I love it when the snow sets like this. It makes for some amazing shots.
