A quiet morning to play in Photoshop. Not feeling too well today, so needed to do something to take my mind off it. Hope you enjoy. Have a beautiful day.

Well, can't get away from the usual superlatives where your work is concerned. Goes without saying, really.
The intricacy of the metal work is only surpassed by the facets that they contain. Really liking the pearlescence of those elements.
The jewel itself is spectacular.
If I may be so bold ... and I will :oP ... wondering if when you are feeling better ... you might wish to revisit this one and flesh out the background a tad?
Just a thought of course.
Conceptually, the simplicity of the background does work. Having said that, I have no doubt in my mind that you could easily create something to accomplish my humble suggestion/request and maintain the concept.
Very nice work and I do enjoy this one. Make no mistake about my drivel above.
And but of course, thank you for sharing your talents with us. This viewer always appreciates any and all of your creative efforts.
p.s. Let me know ... and if need be ... more cookies will be on their way.
It does look like a Predator head-dress with an Alien egg inside...very cool!! I assume you're aware of the movies that's why I made the reference. 8~D
This image in my mind stands perfectly on it's own. I personaly rather like the mystery created by the shadow area. The intricate detail is second to none. Wonder what you might create when you are feeling better? Beautiful work Nathan.
Your images like this never cease to amaze me. This is lovely and superb work despite you not feeling well. Get well wishes and well done for a great image!

it does look like its title. i really like it although it looks a bit evil......like maybe it will grab you with its wings and take you away. hope this therapy helped your day!
sorry if i don't comment on each of your pictures. to those of you who comment so often, i can't imagine how you get it done! i for one am always extremely grateful for the kind comments and suggestions that you make.

Each one of your jewel images amazes me, and this one takes the cake (or cookie :) ) Such precision and clarity, and the opalescent green is one of my favourite colours,
Spendiferous.
Glad you are feeling better.
(LOL - coincidentaly I have just ordered new glasses frames - similar colours. Had I seen this first I would have thought I had been influenced by it :) I am now convinced I made a good choice. )
LOVE IT... although my first thought before reading it's title was of a fierce mother bird carrying her egg to safety. I love the metal detailing and the sharpness of the small jewel in contrast with the softness of the large jewel. The darkness emphasized by the light really great.
:o|
