This is a work of love and art combined Nathan. The color scheme is so warm and inviting. The two hearts, one bigger for the man :) and the smaller for the woman is such a neat idea and works to balance this creation.
The whitish glow on the left side of the big heart, right above the smaller heart is distracting to my eye...it appears out of place in the image to me. The glow coming from behind the large heart is perfect. It adds to the drama of the image....rather like the glow of love :-)
The gemstone that you have added to each heart enhances the beauty of each heart and invites the viewer eye to traverse the gilded lines that are embedded within each heart so delicately. The only thing that would make this any better was if one of those were hanging on a gold chain from around my neck :o)
High quality, awesome detailing, just love the colors.

I love the damask style hearts and I think the success of the whole image rests on the placement of the light. The receding dark background balances the glow of the two beating hearts. Very sensuous and invigorating piece of art.
