same render as before except instead of using a shadowed sun as my primary light source, I used an array of point lights in the shape of a sphere for realistic shading, then another strong point light as my noticable source. I guess the idea behind these images is that of a futuristic waste management facility. Let me know which one u like better

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

I'd like to see a combination of the two renderings. This render is more colorful and I like what you've done to the spheres. Plus, the chutes seem to have more character from their shading. But the floor appears too clear for waste management. I like the murkier look of the original render. Also, is something gaseous making the cloudy effect in the background? The backdrop of the first render gave the illusion of infinite space or multiple dimensions, which was more Matrix-like.

I agree, I liked the checkered background in the original. The original image used 4 regular walls sorrounding the room, when I used this same setup with the lighting in this scene it cause very akward reflections in the balls. I ended up having to use a solid sphere to enclose the room, the checkered surface as the material for the inside of the sphere was no where near as pleasing or infinite looking and it also caused the reflection in the balls to look pixelated.

I actually like the texture of this render. It gives a hand-drawn look, like an illustration from a children's story. This would seem to be a rather frightening tale, by the looks of things. Very nice.
