I just saw this on the featured images page and I had to respond. I love everything about this shot. The softer focus really works well here and the subtle variations in greens and blue flowers combine to give this shot a certain magic. Well done.

Absolutely gorgeous. I have many areas similar to these around where I live, but I don't think there's that much continuous purple. You can't tell where it stops :). Seems almost a little to bright on the upper half, but I think any altering of the image would screw up other parts, and that would be very bad :p.
