I loved the contrast between the dramatic scarlet and black striped Shieldbug and the silvery grey Sea Holly it was feeding on. This was on a turtle breeding beach too - but wrong season for them ;(

Nice little bug, and very sharp again, in bright colours. You are right, the contrast with the flower is beautiful!

You teach me more about bugs and butterflys and stuff, than every teacher in my life. I think it is so interesting, seeing them having a snake. The contrast is indeed wonderful.

This isn the one that came up in the voting booth. I am amazed at the design, especially the dots across the front. if this isn't a shining example of intentionally design by God, then we are all BLIND! Great capture.

I am as you know a fan of your work and this for me is about as good as it gets. the colours ar vibrent the contrast is wonderful and the presentation is perfect. what more can i say. well shot.
