Another taster for next spring. The Brimstone is the original butter-fly! [According to some authorities anyway]. Nectaring [I think] on Viper's Bugloss.

Wow, this guy looks, as if he would be part of a tree in wonderland. Great shot, really beautiful picture.

Great shot...that is just crazy. For those who say there is no God have a look at those wings, they look just like leaves. You would never see this critter in a tree. Awesome job mate.

One nice image. I like your use of a shallow depth of field yet at the same time keeping the subject in sharp focus.

An amazingly beautiful picture and perfect clarity. The butterfly so delicate and every detail can be seen. I know the colours are totally natural - I know Vipers Bugloss and it is the exact colour.
Wonderful post :)

BTW - I saw the hedgehog tonight, it came within an inch of my foot. Bright moonlight so clearly visible. All that was missing was my camera :)

A wonderful capture with delicate pastel colors. I love this. You have seen the bug in the background on the left side as well? Two for one. What a butterfly. I have never seen this one before. Super post.
