In 1643, during the English Civil War, a battle took place on top of this hill [just outside of Devizes, Wiltshire] which was won by the Royalists - although they later went on to lose the war to the Parliamentarians! This is my first attempt at 'stitching' and framing; I may have gone overboard in an attempt to capture the whole hill - it took 5 shots. I dedicate this to Owd Bob whose patience and generosity enabled me to present this one. Please feel free to be critical [but be gentle with me;o)

It looks great...you and Owd Bob are to be congratulated and I'm happy to be the first. I don't think you went overboard. It really blends together very well and give a nice broad pano.

This was the only pic in todays voting, that got ten points from me - normally I give more, but today was terrible. Your pic saved my day. Thanks for that. You did a great, great job with this.
