Poor little fella! I took this just after a downpour this afternoon. The first daffodil to flower in my garden this year. It's the smallest too - only 4"/10cm high! Hence it's name Narcissus minimus [or more recently N. asturiensis]. It comes from the mountain meadows of Spain and Northern Portugal

laughter is the best medicine.
Maybe a gentle shake would have relieved the poor guy of a little of his burden..that's a really small daffodil.. I don't think I've ever seen one that little...aren't you lucky to have them so early..well, I should say early for around my corner of the globe.

Great capture. Love the water drops and the beautiful shade of yellow. Even tho it's poor little head is bowed, it is still a beauty. Nice work.
