I reworked my first image by cropping, and because it is an old shed I used sepia. I also straighten the shed. One of the other artist on this site left me a comment on how they thought I could improve on this shot. Tell me what you think.

Not bad, but I preffered the first one. I like colors, a lot.

Oh I like this one a lot... the roof is more interesting because I can see how the peak was made, the boarded-up windows have a special interest of their own and the stump and grass have more texture. Also it is possible to see the way the interior space is used... two closed rooms and a covered area in the center. The other shot was pretty...an interesting old shack in a scenic setting... while this one has a different purpose. I think the sepia works also. Oh neat! I just noticed that magnificient stone slab that serves as a threshold. Can't you imagine the 3 or 4 pioneers it took to move that stone into place?

I think sepia makes the contrast of the image more dramaic but have to agree I do prefer the first one

Thank you for your comment on my "Waves From the Gulf of Mexico" and I must say some very nice shots as well. I really like this one because the sepia goes with the shed. It just makes it look more old-fashioned and it's better than the first one because it is a closeup and you can see more detail of the shed. I added this one to my favs
