This was take at the beach near me at low tide, but the waves make a ditch in the sand and some water stayed back leaving a sea puddle. I like the texture of the sand underneath the water. This is another photo that you really need to open full screen to get the best view. To all my friends, please forgive me if I haven't commented on many photos lately. When I went to the street fair last weekend, I reinjured my knee. I can't bend it for to long, so it hard to sit at the computer.

The sea puddle is interesting, but I like even more the reflection of the sky on the wet sand. Beautiful shot... and I hope your knee recovers soon!

Sorry about your knee Laura. Just put this on your desktop and let the water rush against your knee. It will feel better in no time. That's what I am doing. Great post and you are correct about the textures.

Wonderful view of the beach and beach puddle, Laura! I especially like the ripples in the sand under the water and the lighting here. I also like your framing, which highlights the blue in the sky. Just a suggestion if I may, in choosing a color for a frame, it works well to use the color picker (eye dropper) in your editing program, and clicking on a color from within the image. You can also have fun creating transparent frames. Great post and look forward to more!

Sorry to hear about your knee Laura, but I hope it recovers soon! :)

A scenic coastline you have there. I love the movement of the water and details in the tide pool. I'm on the fence about the frame. I especially like the reflections in the sand. Wonderful!
