I took my daughter to the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay NY today. We had a great time, but just like everyday for almost six weeks it rained off and on. This is a photo I took in between the rain, they call this the Italian Garden. I love the little house. We need to go back one day soon when it will be nice out all day.

Bella! A beautiful garden, indeed, Laura. The water looks so pure and wonderfully colored even on an overcast day. Actually all the colors are nice and rich. I wouldn't mind a visit here myself. Thanks for bringing us here. Would like to see more of the arboretum.

I have had lunch at The Olive Garden, does that count Laura? Of course it wasn't an outdoor restaurant like this one. :)
Beautiful colors and it looks so clean and refreshed after the rain.
Great shot.

That's sure is a beautiful place. I like the symmetrical look. The colors are brilliant. Very nice, Laura.

I like the symmetry of the setting and the blue oasis in the center really sets it off.

It's nice that you were able to catch this shot in between the showers. Must be a beautiful place and I even see a little blue up above. Very clear shot.

A nice shot of this lovely colourful garden, Laura. That kinda looks like Don Michael Corleones place. I wouldn't step on the grass if i was you. Nice work.

Beautiful deep color here...of course you'll want to go back! Where is the sun? Might be nice to get a setting or rising sun reflection in that pool.
