The water just washed up on to shore these rocks, I love the texture of the rock and sand. I think this would be a good desk top. I like this one in B&W , it helps show the texture in the rocks and sand.

This DOES show the textures very nicely, and black and white shots are very artistic in my humble opinion. Great job with this, Laura.

Very good choice on b&w for this one Laura. Very well composed and the textures and their blending is great too.

Very good B/W image....does how off the textures a bit more than a color would I believe. Cool piece of work and nicely done my friend.

Beautiful Laura. The framing really enhances the b/w photo. Grains of sand always make my mind go wild. This is a great desktop to get lost within. Good post.

An excellent choice in b/w, Laura! I love the contrasts and lighting, and how the sand sparkles! Saved to DT.

Beautiful shapes and textures. this is perfect in B&W and would not have been nearly as good in colour.

Black and white is fun to do I think...especially if you have something that really looks better without the color distracting the eye. Which I agree, is the case here. :)

This is so nice in b/w. You create a tension by having the rocks in the vertical because we expect the scene to be horizontal.
