I found this Potted Man at an Arboretum near me, I thought how clever someone was that work there, I guess he boss didn't feel the same way. This poor man was going to be put out with the trash. So in a way I feel like I saved it.

It looks like it is saying..."Well I never." Nice, Laura. That's a classic sculpture...I wouldn't think anyone would trash it.

A good fun image Laura, well spotted. This, however, takes me back to the mid 1950s and to a children's programme that has passed into folklore over here. It is Bill and Ben: The Flowerpot Men. Watch the clip and you'll see why.

This is a wonderful find! And I can't imagine anyone wanting to throw something like this away! Also, this pic is very desktop friendly... my icons won't print on top of the picture!

Neat creation. He needs some little eyes, nose, mouth and a flower out the top of his hat. :o)

Clever, wonder how they put it together to make it hold together. Wouldn't mind having it in my garden. Really unique, glad you found it.

That's really cute, Laura. I like the way you isolated it and made the background very unobtrusive.

He'd look so cute in and amongst a garden, and I can't believe they would want to trash it. Nice presentation Laura, and I like your framing technique!

As Bill or Ben would say "Flob-o-lob-o-lob". Although I always had my suspicions around what 'weed' was up to. [as per Braces link above]. Oh, and great shot.

I hope you saved him even more by taking him home Laura. I have been potted a few times myself. Luckily I wasn't thrown out with the trash. Just banished to the dog house.
Great post and presentation.
