Beautiful and tranquil shot. Black Butte Ranch is a resort community just to the west of Bend, OR. One of the finest Porters around is made in the Bend area. "Black Butte Porter" from Deschutes Brewing Co. Man, I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it !!

Caught this one in the VB and studied it for a long, long time before casting a vote. I love the composition and the general 'feel' of the picture, but I wish there were just a bit more contrast in the mountains in the backround and the sky. In the end I decided hte composition over came these issues, which may just be personal taste and scored it rather well. Looking forward to seeing more.

you guys really got the scenery out there. i wish the focus and brightness were a little better in forground, but even if you don't do it, the picture is awesome.
