I love the feeling of this little bridge with the greenery fading and getting better...but I have to say I thi\nk the green of the frame is just a bit too wide..I think it feels too heavy for this scene..since the bridge already sort of gives a feeling of that..but I love the photo!!
The fading is excellent in this image. I think a more delicate frame would enhance this beauty even more. I have mixed feelings on the writing..as a desktop, not sure if I would use it, but could be a good reminder to someone that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. The bridge angle and the trees behind it make for a great capture. Thanks for posting it :~)
The fading is very well done, you obviously spent some time on this... I agree about the text, i think that statment is made very well without the text, but none the less, this is a great image!
what a great image.. i love the magnificent contrast between the coloured and the b/w part.. i agree, the fading is perfect! and i congratulations you on this..masterpiece :) i love the idea for the image and the message.. i would love to see one without the framing and the message to use as a wallpaper!
but nevertheless, this one's amazing... i love that contrast the most :) keep up the great work.. and thank you for sharing this one with us :)
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Ain't that the truth. It's hard not to it believe sometimes. Great manip, very soft and clear. Love the gradule color shift. Very beautiful................Amaris
Exellent piece of work. Love the image and the theme is most cleverly brought out with the fade in of color. For me it would have been absolutely perfect sans the text. A matter of personal preference I suppose. Nevertheless it's a marvelous image, one that makes me "green" with envy not having created it myself.
