A Fringe Lily (Thysanotus tuberosus). These flowers open for a single day each season, of which I barely caught in the late evening. DMC-FZ20, F/2.8, 1/500 sec, ISO-80.

I love these violet furry flowers - they are so vivid and interesting. The photo is well focused which wasn't really that easy as you have decided to present a group of flowers. I wish the photo was a little bit brighter though...
