Okay, so the butterfly doesn't have ALL the colours of the rainbow, but of those that I have seen, this includes a greater portion than most. Not sure what species this is, but if someone recognizes it, I would be much obliged. DMC-FZ20, F/4, 1/160 sec, ISO-80.

Sorry, I can't tell you what it is, but I can tell you that I agree with your assessment of the content of its colors...I like the angle you've used to present this as the butterfly seems to be headed diagonally toward the right top while our eye is being drawn in a diagonal toward the left top with the lovely green of the fern frond. The play of light and shadow is also very good and adds its own flavor. Saved on my hard drive. Excellent work.

I don't know the species, either, but that is one AWESOME butterfly! And very well presented, too.
