This is a great photo! It looks like people are just missing it. The focus and depth are very good and the light and shadows on the spider are very interesting! I gota feel sorry for its lunch though. ;) I think it would do better cropped to the lower portion of what you have here and in color. Though for me what you have here is splendid.

I hate spiders, lol. But this is a nice shot of a very industrious garden spider-- I have one living in my lemon balm right now, so I know what those look like. This might be improved a bit by a slightly different angle, but it's still a nice shot.

Great angle, I like the shadows and colour on the top of the spiders body, interesting.

I like it alot i think the b & w shot really does it for me.

now that's just awesome. i hate spiders too, terrified of them, but this is a really powerful photo. has a dreamy feel to it, too. i think it's the depth of field that does it for me.
