I can't wait until winter when I can take some pics of Mt. Washington. It's so pretty when it's sprinkled with a confection of snow. Right now, it's pretty bland standing naked behind the hotel, and the summit is covered by a bit of cloud. The pine trees that were planted in the front of this hotel were not placed well. It used to be before they got so tall you could see the whole of it from the road. Thanks for coming along and for all the wonderful comments from each of you :)PJ

Gorgeous view and finale PJ. The majestic hotel against those equally (or more) majestic mountains is an awesome view. Your capture is clear, well composed and other than that, perfection ;) Excellent post and I'll be watching for snow as well. Thanks for sharing the tour of this marvelous hotel with us. It was grand.

Outstanding photo, PJ. I love the frame too. I have been to Mt. Washington, but sorry to say I was too afraid to ascend by car. I do love those white mountains though.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

I think this is my favourite shot in the series. The scenery around it is fantastic and it shows this wonderful building off very well. Thanks for allowing us into your holiday? If it wasn't a holiday then allowing us into your weekend residence.

Hi PJ, my what a marvelous conclusion to a great and beautiful series! This image and all of the others, in the series, are so perfectly and professionally photographed, it is amazing! With the graciousness an artful skill you possess, you have presented to us a desirable presentation of this dignified and magestic structure, for our pleasure and I thank you! All the other associated photos are included impressively! The very tasteful framing completes the image in style and with fashion! Nice job! Someday, I will tell you about the "Grand Hotel" in northern MI, located on Mackinaw Island PJ, a sweet story indeed! It is a stucture similar to this lovely building, but claims to have the longest porch in the world! A job well done, dear! Sincerely, Marilyn
