Year after year they stand and await the new fall creations so that they may adorn the painted lady they guard with the latest in Fall couture..sometimes they pick wisely..others they don't, but they are unfailing in their vigilance

Such a display of color and contrast. The trees almost look like they were white washed. The leaves are rich in color and I see that quite a few of them have already tumbled to the pavement. Lovely fall scene, PJ.

Wow..what a row of brightly uniformed guards these are too! Stunningly beautiful! I'm just glad I'm not the one having to rake up after them. lol But then again it might be worth it for the shade they must bring in summer & the show they give in the fall! Great capture PJ!! :)

Fall, One of the most beautiful times of the year. PJ, you must live in a georgeous setting. We took a drive this morning, and the only fall you see here on the coast are the white Pines needles turning brown. Even what trees we do have, tend to turn brown and fall off even before our first frost.
But I know I can always browse your images and enjoy the full splendor of the vibrant colors of fall. Thank you for these beautiful captures.

oh, I wish this were my house ....well, right now I do, but I won't once the winter heating bills start to pile up. This baby is a huge old Victorian that the owners recently added on to in the back, believe it or not. One of the doctors in town owns it, so I imagine he can afford the price :)PJ

I love the overall effect in this photo. The colours of the leaves, obviously. But then, the whiteness of the trunks and the scattering of leaves on the path all add character to it. I wonder, did you take any shots of the reflecions of the leaves in the windows? Just adore it, well done.
Cheers! Ray.
