I took this in East Orange, Vermont. It is a picturesque village in the central part of the state that is situated on a dirt road intersection. It's a peaceful place that takes pride in its newly painted church, after the fashion of the old "painted lady" houses that we have here. It seems to have been blessed that day at least :)PJ

Where'd you get that rainbow? lol That is just such a great shot. I love the old painted lady look. I dig those many colored old houses. They remind me of victorian gingerbread houses. This church is really pretty. Great capture, PJ.

This is lovely. What a contrast to the dull grey churches I see around these parts. Thanks for sharing this with us.

How beautifully you've presented this lovely building. The clarity and details are sharp and the lighting is perfect. The rainbow is a nice touch.

Great picture and the frame nicely evokes the bare tree branches to the left of the church. I have just one small nit-pick...I think it would have been nice if the left panel on the frame had been flipped (east-west) so that the two panels would look like mirror images of each other instead of clones.

Very nice capture, I think the frame really helps to accent the picture well. It really helps the colors stand out on the picture itself.

Wonderful capture, PJ. It's very difficult to take a vertical image and make it a good desktop, but you've done that here. Your framing accents rather than competes and the rainbow is icing on the cake. Its subtle touch of color over this beautifully painted church is perfection!

What a quaint little shot. I like it! Nicely focussed capture here. I am having a love hate feeling about the framing, I love the texture, but I think I hate it with this shot? I do like the way in which you framed the shot and I love the shot itself.
