We don't get very many nice sunsets here...or if we do you can't see them for the trees, but I climbed on the roof of the local High School to get this little slice of heaven, and hopefully there will be more as the sun sets even lower in the south and helps to create some pretty highlights ..my first NE sunset pic :)PJ

So how much did it cost you to get out of jail after the cops pulled you off the roof?? LOL Great looking sunset, and I love that moon up there! Very cool! Now if you could have just framed it with some tall grass.... ;)

A sunset is allways nice, no matter what...
Every day he creates that orange and red effect, but it's different every day and i didn't just catch the sunsut, you catch the moon to and with the cloud on her front it gives to her a smooth effect.
I like a lot this image on the top we have the moon and a dark cold gray sky, on the bottom a red and orange worm sky.
You have captured day and night in one shot excellent in my vision ;D

It was well worth climbing up to the roof of the school to get this beautiful photo of Stratus clouds so artfully coloured by the setting sun changing from
bright yellow to bright red. Very good shot, PJ.
By the way, the shopping mall I had posted before was in Regensburg in the south of Germany. This one is in Hamburg where I live.

don't take risks like climbing onto roofs of buildings. you did, however, get a great shot of your sunset. why do we always think of sunsets with the western part of the country. yours is like a silhouette. i like it very much.

This is a gorgeoous image even without the moon and the moon does add a dynamite effect to the overall image, another dimension, if you will. This is going into my favs. Both the title "Sky Painter" and the image are well worth the hazards you may have incurred in your tumultuous venture to the top of this 40 story building.........Neil
