nicely done, PJ. capturing reds as well as you have isn't as easy as it looks. the apple's color is just right, and not overblown. the shadows were anice touch as well. :o)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Well it matches the lead reindeers nose ya know so this should be easy for him! Just make sure you leave the big guy something tasty. I figure by the time he gets to my place he'll have his fill of milk and cookies, so I'm cooking a sirloin for him....and leaving the light on in the bathroom. ;) Pretty shot my friend! :)

Back off Rudolph ... I saw it first. >:o/

Kidding of course.

Nice concept. I like it alot and I would agree with Rob that the shadows are a deft touch to the image. That hint or additional touch of snow on the apple? ... brilliant, for balancing out your composition. :o)

I like how you disguised it to look like it fell there naturally .. with just the right amount of snow meltage

very clever .. you've done this before

Well, as far as I can tell, this was NOT a setup! I mean, no way could you have put that dab of snow on the apple in just that precise way. I may be wrong..me? wrong? lol...(haha)
I think this is a lovely photo....shadows, white, red, etc...nice stuff!! I only wish the
apple were a bit more shiney !!Verena
