Someday in the future this infant, if it grows and survives and someone takes the time and effort to dry it, will become a straw flower..preserved and ready to treat our autumn-weary eyes :)
I thought it was a dried flower by your title, but nooooo it is there in all its beauty - like a big sunshine! lovely capture PJ and I like the framing too - very coordinated! :)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

u know, ive never seen one of these alive! they have always been dried! arent they great, a perfection in design and colour! love the layers and the fact that each layer is different!
What a super flower! I never thought about them having a life "before drying". This is a gorgeous and colorful little thing and as always your presentation is excellent.
