I love these flowers!! - they are striking in colour and very unusual! ...and I like anything unusual! ;) lol! beautiful framing too PJ! Have you seen the way that Hans overlaps a flower onto the frame - I think this would work really well in this picture too - just food for thought as I know how much you like to experiment! ;)

Yes, it does look as though an artist was at work on "the morning after". But they are lovely all the same. The mysteries of nature! Some flowers have such exact symmetrical designs and some like this!

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

I love dianthus and can't resist photographing the ones in my garden, but they are not blooming here yet so I really appreciate this lovely foretaste of things to come. Excellent shot.
