To my Mom and to all mothers. This is the first in a two-part series, if ever I get to upload two at a time again. The frame is supposed to represent babies breath. I really am going to send this to my Mother, so please tell me your thoughts about this framing job. Thanks.

We had our Mother's Day in March.....
Lovely work from you though..the framing, could be 'toned' down a tad I think...it slightly overpowers the beauty of the image!

Beautiful capture of these beautiful flowers, but not sure about the frame, I like the size, but maybe the colours don't really compliment the flowers.

Hey PJ,
If your mother is like a lot of us (including me),
She will sure love it,

The beauty of a mothers hearth,
Hard and strong, but always full of forgiveness,
And most of the time soft and gentle,
I think you should do the other one with a mother's-♥-frame,
I don't see the baby's hearth in the frame, but perhaps that is just me,

Thanks for sharing,
Greeting from me to your mum, she must special to you,
Tim

I love the image, PJ, and think you should try to sell it. I don't care for the frame but then I don't usually like frames unless they are really subtle.

okayyyyy! well my first thoughts are 'she is going to love this' PJ! - very beautiful and she will love it mostly because you made it for her.

We do things differently here in the UK - Mothers Day is in March, but Happy Mother's day to all you mothers who celebrate tomorrow!

Beautiful Arrangement PJ. I think the beauty of the photo alone needs no frame. Just one man's opinion.

I was in England in March one year and thought it peculiar that they were celebrating Mother's Day and selling flowers in the streets when it was still chilly. Tomorrow's Mother's Day will be quite beautiful here though and I am wishing you a very happy and memorable day, PJ. The roses are gorgeous! The frame makes them appear to be in a window because of its dimension, but your photos are so good, most of them don't need frames.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Hi PJ, I love baby's breath - it's so soft and delicate. I think it is beautiful in this frame and the only thing I would change is to take Owd Bob's suggestion and make it a little lighter and more subtle so those roses really stand out. They are beautiful! I know your mother will love this!

The flowers are great and can stand on their own. But if you must have a frame PJ, I would suggest (since you asked) the blue grey colour of the small leaf close to the second bright rose from top.

While the frame adds additional color to the image, I'm not sure it is needed either. The roses stand so well on their own from the lovely job you did. Your mom will be pleased, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

I think that those roses are wonderful, and you've captured them very well, but I must admit that I don't really care for the frame... the white seems to dim the beauty of the superb lighting of the photo... that's just my opinion though, anyway, I'm sure your mother will love this :)
