...or can you name it? I can't take credit for this one..it was taken by Pat. This is a tree that produces flowers I have never seen before. They look very much like a orchid/foxglove mix, and the leaves are huge and velvety.

I just thought - ohhh that is a tiger lilly, but not if it is growing on a tree! lol! a very pretty flower and now I am going to do some research to see if I can discover what it is!

For once I know the name of something! This is a Catawba tree and their flowers are beautiful. Ours have already dropped and I have a fun pic of them after they've rained down from the tree. A tree raining flowers was really a sight to see! Great shot.

These are special designer flowers. They were not meant for your area but for Hollywood :) Unusual but very beautiful and Pat deserves a pat on the back for finding these.

I thought everyone knew this was a 'snap dragon with carnation petals tree' a common species in the Amazon and other tropical jungles, except Africa because it is the favorite food of the purple mamba. As for the presentation, it is very nice.

My mom has one of these. I get annoyed with the pods all over the ground. The flowers are really beautiful though. Great shot and a wonderfully blue NH sky.

I call it "Deceptive Beauty" it is a great photo I look at the contrast between light and darkness with the soft subtle whites peeking from the shadowy depths calling to the viewer to look upon an interesting array of petals.
