Again at the Sugar Shack in Lancaster. I never realized that tiger lilies produced berries, but I suppose on second thought, those are really seed pods.
Pj this is a breath taking macro shot. Everything about this image is perfect. The old wooden fence, the sky, the incredible DoP that’s in focus everything is simple perfect. If it was wider I'd make it my desktop. 10/10 Tremendous job!

The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
Intense focus, PJ and I really like that I can see all the wonderful colors of the other flowers and the blue sky in the background. It makes for a very colorful image and gives great depth to the shot! Nice work yet again!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Yes, the little black things are lovely and I always admire the shiny black stems as well.
Wonderful capture PJ, especially the inclusion of the unopened buds hanging so gracefully in the background.

Another perfect shot PJ. Striking clarity. I put it on my desktop and I could actually touch it. The berries are a topper for the ice cream. Great job. Terry
If flowers had dresses, this one would be a fiery little number! haha...Love the detail on the flower, it's quite intense. Lovely shot, thanks for sharing :)

Great shot indeed, Pj - It somehow has a very strong 3D effect. By the way why "Tiger" and not "Leopard". Tigers have stripes; Leopards have spots (just a thought).

Wow. There's been a lot of comments on this one. I'll just add my two cents in too. The colors on this are so intense! It would be something I would frame for a shady place in my house just to brighten my house up! Perfect

Stunning... stunning ! I only became interested in flowers since last spring. Maybe age has something to do with it, but now my eyes have opend for the beauty of flowers, i am amazed to see the varitity amongst them.
Nature is so amazing. And so is this image. Thanks for this beauty of a shot !
I'm so glad my Dad convinced me to put one of these in my garden. I'm sure mine not as pretty since we're almost in a drought.
it's a wonderful photo, I like how the buds frame the photo.
This is really goooooood. perfect exposure throughout. Got this in the VB. Beautiful. Hopefully, my score should have im prov ed the score some more. Excellent.

Excellent shot, PJ. The little "berries" are actually called bulbils and they can be planted and will produce a flowering plant in a couple of years if you take care of them.
