Since I know that Cindy likes the Connecticut River and has presented it from time to time I give her the second best of the origins. I was at Third Lake next to the Canadian border, but my pics just didn't come out, so here's the next best thing, 2nd Connecticut Lake view at the headwaters of the mighty Connecticut. Hope you all enjoy :)

I am deeply honored that you, my dear friend, PJ, would present me with such a wonderful gift as this view of such a gorgeous lake right here in New England. As small as NE might seem, it holds such beauty in the four seasons with which it is blessed. You have enticed me into finding this lake now, PJ, and I'm going to do it one day because until you photographed and presented it, I wasn't even aware that it existed. The view is spectacular from the warm grasses of the foreground to the rolling hills beyond the lake. The colors of the water and sky are such a deep blue and that sky might be the same one I saw on Thursday last. Could that be so? Thank you, dear friend, for such a lovely post with me in mind. I am happy that you would take this beautiful shot and present it in my name. Thank you. I won't forget your kindness.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

What a gorgeous scene! The colors are so deep and blue and the composition is amazing. I know you're the master of the magic eraser and like Owd Bob I'd enjoy seeing it without the sign, too.
