After viewing the lovely green pool, we'll come to the first covered bridge of the two that are hidden here inside The Flume It's an amazing place and if I can't do it justice, perhaps that link will help you understand how special this place really is :)

Very nice shot... and they keep the bridge in top notch shape!
From the photo, one can see that they have replaced some of the wood in the fence railings. Nice and sharp! :o)

it always fascinates me just how many of these quaint bridges there are over there!...
So lovely to look at, and a well kept masterpiece!

Nice photo PJ, do you really have bridges like this? And the name of the river is fantastic. I like the way you've got it framed by the tree, and the deep red colour of the clapboards.

I wached a movie once with Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood, i have forgotten the name, where a bridge like this was starring :-). A very romantic and very sad movie.
Very nice photo!

I love these old covered bridges. We have some in Iowa - the Bridges of Madison county, ha ha. Wonderful capture of this one - I love the lighting and colors and the way it's inviting us in.
