Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.
PJ, simply beautiful. I do not know how you do it. The sky is outstanding. The contrast of the blue mountains and the green rolling hills. And, the blue flowing river. Everything works, a great shot!

I really like it. ^_^ Would've been nice to see more of the trees on the bottom though... but I guess it would take too much out of the clouds... XD Wonderful shot still. :D
I'm guessing, hope I don't embarrass myself too much, that the clouds were not in the original photo or were but have been "worked up" in some fashion? They seem to have a drama about them that is different from the rest of the image? Or is just that I can't believe Mother Nature does as good work as she actually does? lol.
Great looking image.
PJ, I'm so glad to see Moore Dam again! Every time your "Moore Dam Daisy's" post rolls around on my backgrounds I chuckle. This is just a gorgeous, stupendous desk top image.... Top marks and I hope I see it in the dreaded VB.. :0) ~Mary~
Make me sure this photo have been rework ? If not the light, the contrast, the clouds, anyway everything is perfect. It look like science fiction picture. Very good as usual.
***ATTENTION***Please help me! I'm about to buy my DSLR in a few weeks for my 21st birthday. Check out the discussion about it here.

What a gorgeous day and scene! This so reminds me of the Connecticut River and the Quabbin resevoir. The colors are brilliant and the vantage point perfect. Great image, PJ, yet again!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
