Behind Ray's Seafood at Rye Beach I found these lobster floats. Even in their rather worn condition, they appealed to me and I guess to others as they were actually for sale!
I guess if you want to save some bucks on your lobster floats you can get them used! Great colors and composition and I like the variety of your photo styles as well! And guess what...now I want some lobster!
Hi PJ,
This is a change for you my friend ! Superb content, well taken. We have a Rye fishing harbour on the south coast of England, the sea food is wonderful.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

PJ,
Wonderful use of depth of field to give the image a centre without the foreground and background being distractingly blurred. Niiiiiice. It's an image that just cries out to me to be played with somehow. I don't know how, I just have that feeling without a clue on the details. Lol. I guess that makes this an "inspiring" image. :)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Everyday utility has its beauty and with use and age (like most of us)grows with character and depth.
Another reminder to pay attention to what is at hand and slow down. Just perfect!

What is a lobster float used for? Catching lobsters? I like the colors and their used condition. I'm going to eat some lobster today so that's a fun coincidence.

You had a good eye to take this image, I like how the colours almost play with one another. In fact, in my opinion the worn aspect of the floats is one of the best things here, they add a lot of nice texture. Compliments,

Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.

I saw so many of these when I was in Grand Manan... Now I'm kicking myself for not taking more pics of them! I do have one that I'll upload someday soon. Yours is really good. The angle you chose makes it seem like they are just a drop in the bucket on a wall of thousands.
