You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Great view. I hate to think of snow, ice and howling winds--but then I'm not a skier. Chair is needed if you leave cables in picture, but shot would stand on its own without them.
This is gorgeous, and brings back memories, PJ. I love your composition, and the colouring is excellent... those mountains fading off into blue are scrumptious... We went up Canon Mountain when I was nine. I had never been at that altitude before and when I saw the stunted pine trees and the pathways winding through them, I thought someone had made a wonderland for children! It was entrancing.

ohhh this is nice, i love the mountains in the background, and the addition of the chairlift makes for a different take on such a view. good shot, i like it!
Hey PJ,
I like how the seat hit by the light while the rest of the image seems somewhat dark,
Have you had the chance to make a trip on that chairlift, I bet it must be a terrific sight from up there, (~8
Nicely done,

I am not so sure I would want to ride on one PJ - they look quite precarious without straps and things to hold you in! lol! :) ....but then again it might be fun! :) nice composition with the layers of hills in the background! :)

Grand view there, Pj very impressive. The mountain range looks awesome and the lonely "bench" (not for people with vertigo!) looks rather forlorn up there. Great post!

It looks like my area. If I can provide you an advice, you should open a little bit more the diaph. Thanks a lot for this sharing, I love this kind of vision.

Good lord, why do I always have to scroll so far down on your pics? :) Great stuff, Peej! I really like what you did with the bicolor background and the drop shadow (among other things). As for the photo, I really like the diagonals with the mountain side and ski lift. The seat couldn't really be placed much better.
