Wooowwww how special is this one!?! No wonder you were taken with the reflections, but the curves and contrasting colours are just stunning. Those patches of yellow sand in the lake set it off beautifully. There's a tiny bit of lens vignetting in the corners - I often get the same thing when I use a polariser - but I actually think it adds something here as it echoes the arch of the trees. Stunning work my friend, +fav.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Beautifully composed and a picture of great tranquility.
Stunning PJ - I adore autumn colours, and can't wait for more :)
The best of both worlds - enjpying spring and being provided with these lovely vistas :

PJ, I am not one to ususally say this, but I am going to, "into my favs" it has gone. What a terrific shot and it is also a testimony to your wonderful talents.
Hey PJ,
very nice reflections on the water, but when i see this wonderful landscape picture, i think i stay in the water. I would say, the reason is the frame. I like it much more without this frame.
The reflection is fantatstic! Beautiful capture again. I am also impressed by your ability (and patience) to search for and find such lovely scenes one after the other :)
Mercy, what a gorgeous photo. Love the reflections, sand bar, trees starting to turn, bend in river, sky, framing and of course the title. If I left anything out it's because my memory gets a little foggy from time to time. You sure are talented, but I knew that from the avie's you made for me. Lovely post.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

PJ! Can I just say Ooooo! Ahhhhhhh!! Whoaaaaa! And into my fav this beauty went!! Thanks for sharing this awesome capture! Great eye for the moment!! WOW!!
this is an absolutely gorgeous shot...if I can offer some unsolicited opinion...I think this photograph would stand out much better without the frame.....
To be honest PJ I hate autumn / fall
It reminds me that winter will soon be here !! However I like this because of the lovely little island, and bold blue sky reflecting in the still water along with the trees reflection. :d

Heyyy, you got reflections up north too! This is dynamite, PJ. The colours and the bluer than blue Autumn sky, and just everything! Saved and faved, as we say.

This was one wild ride..up and down the c index...thanks to all who voted in a decent manner, and even though I know you all won't see this comment, I hope it will give courage to those who may view it later..this went from a 91 to a 51 to what it is now...which is at the present time a very nice 77. Thanks... :)PJ
