..and casts a shadow as she exits right. I was so concentrated on the flower and getting the focus on her, that I was surprised to see in my viewer the impression that she was leaving on the newly arrived pumpkin.

HA! I saw this in the new images and I knew it was yours! heheh It is fantastic! :-) I love it! And I love your new fall collection :-) Thanks for sharing!
Lol, I was expecting a shot of some green leaves! This is so much better. It's kind of like a 'twofer'. Two flowers for one, the original and it's shadow. Fortunately, the pumpkin was quite obliging in being the canvas which captured the lovely shadow. Nice work, PJ.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Love the composition here. Great detail on the flower and it's stem. The contrast between the seasons here is rather unique and one that I shall enjoy on my desktop! Thanks for sharing it with us ;=)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

PJ, after you previous image, it seems to be you've become a specialist in capturing very sprecial shadows. Very inventive to show this shadow at a pumpkin. Good work! Regards, Cornelius

When I saw this photo in the new image gallery I was sure it was yours. I recognized your pumkin. Anyway, it's a beautiful one with the flower shadow. A little bit dark but great. Thanks for sharing.
