Fantastic image. It's your little town ? A lovely one. It looks as the little american town I thought they were. It must be a restful city where everybody know themselves, with a great community spirit. A nice place to live.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Jumping jerusophats (now why did that just come to mind and who used to say it?) it's a burning bush! Lovely vibrant colours and shapes, perfect autumn stuff.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

OMG! Is this absolutely where you live? Quintessential New England, says I... with that blazing autumn tree and the white clapboard houses sprinkled across the sloping hills... Have I ever mentioned, yes I'm sure I have, that I always thought I'd grow up to live in a little Vermont town like this...? Well, sometimes 'fate' has an interesting sense of humor, and here I am living near the sea... but It's ever so nice to have a friend like you to bring me that other New England. ;-)))

No, my house isn't in this picture, but it wouldn't matter if it were, you wouldn't be able to see it for the two huge birch trees that tower in the front yard at about 60 feet!! I've tried to find it on Google Earth, and all I can see is the neighbors' houses!! :)PJ
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Amazing colours and a lovely looking town.It looks idyllic or is there a hidden drawback? ( You know, like an airport just off the shot or something!LOL)
Did Thornton Wilder and Norman Rockwell used to live up the street from you? I like how the houses are playing peek-a-boo with you in this shot. It is almost Halloween. Colors are excellent as is composition. Just how tall are you anyway? Angle is perfect.

That's a darling little town PJ! And the colors! WOW! As gorgeous as that tree is I'd be tempted to crop half of it to make the town the main subject of this very beautiful shot.

"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
