There are a number of historic old "Inns" and resorts up here in the mountains. This one was restored to its former glory recently and boasts 360 degree views of the White Mountains. We experienced October's bright blue weather in September this year, so I make no apologizes for the sky. I had to tone it down from the DNG!!!

And a grand perspective it is too! I like that you show some of the mountains in the distance on the right. You had to be in just the right spot to get this all in! I know those blue skies you speak of and I am grateful for them. They have just been wonderful this year with the autumn colors.

I love shots like this. Is it clapboard on the inn? What was it restored from - was it an inn that had just fallen into disrepair or was it originally something else?

The line of the clouds at right angles with the building gives this a real sense of dynamism too. I love it. Saturated colours but it sounds like that's about the quality of the light. Great stuff PJ.
