...the river that flows through town. I've presented this before, but not from this view. We have two walking bridges over this lovely water...one is wooden and new and the one I'm on here is old and metal and if somebody doesn't use the money that was left in trust for it, soon to rust away. At least there's no graffiti ! :(

That river is running fast through town. The surrounding area looks really nice too. The colors look great in the light as well. A very pretty scene. Are you sure there is still money in the fund? lol

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . PJ, I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty to look it up and included it. "Ammonoosuc" is Abnaki for "small, narrow fishing place". It is definitely Native American. This is such a great photo. I love the angle and the little peek of village you gave us. Colors are awesome. Just outstanding PJ.

Gorgeous desktop! The rushing water looks icy blue cold in contrast to the warm russets and tans and browns of groundcover and grasses... and I love the stark white punctuation marks of the young birch trees... with a tantalizing touch of red in the houses way down yonder. Superbly done, my friend.
