...summer pretending to be Christmas... Well, the colors are right, the season is wrong, but the sentiment is the same: A pretty view for the holidays!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Red is always beautiful in flowers no matter the season. Great clear photo with excellent coloring. Love the framing. Sounds like it would show up nicely there today if you could find it.
Good post PJ
An image for all seasons I would say. Absolute standout in new images. Brilliant vivid color, sharply focused and composed to perfection. My work is done here ... except for clicking the "favorite" button.
What a super desktop. Colors and detail are excellent. You are right, it does look like a Christmas flower. I think I'll use it as wallpaper right now.
Summer can pretend to be xmas for 365 days with my sentiments, This Imposter will be with me from now until Christmas day. It's beautiful PJ! Just Beautiful.
Is it a morning glory masquerading as a poinsettia? I like these better, there's something about poinsettia's that I find a bit sinister. Different take on Christmas colours here, I like it.
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
