Or so the sky seemed late yesterday afternoon as the fall sun graced the spires of the Congo church in town. The blue sky and feathery clouds were the stuff of December dreams.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

PJ, I like the angle you captured the church at & how the steeple leads the eye to that beautiful dreamy sky. I have never seen a weathervane on a church steeple before ~ very interesting. Wonderful colors & clarity. Nicely done.
How clear this is. I too have never seen a weathervane atop a church steeple. Not a bad thing. I like the title and the remnants of snow around the steeple.. Title and narrative is really good. Very poetic. Great photo PJ

I love those New England skies! You've made me a fan of them PJ. :) It's a lovely view of those church spires and the lighting is beautiful. I'm enjoing your inspired narrative too:)
Oh WOW PJ, this one's really special. Like something out of Disney. The cool cream of the spire topped with gold against the blue sky....gorgeous. Not to mention the way you've dealt with what was undoubtedly a very difficult exposure. A1 and +Fav.
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

I love the angle at which you took this shot. This is a super composition. The sky is fantastic, and the snow on the steeple makes is a perfect early winter picture.
I was kinda hoping I see a dreamsicle...oh wait, that's a creamsicle. lol Lovely shot of the steeple with the bit of snow on it. The colours are great and so is that wonderful blue sky. Not many of those around these days.
