This is lovely with the chrystal clear water and the little leaf on it's last journey..I'm starting to feel a poem coming on..................Memory was the dry leaf floating downstream towards her home. The angry rapids splashed her amber face and she felt alone sleeping on the edge of a cliff. This amber waif of a child with wings has a heart that all can see yet it is imprisoned by it's burnished flesh. The tree could not return home until she learned how to shed her skin. Memory needs warmth to grow.......I really will have to get out more often...Richie.
I don't have a poem. How about a song? I guess not...no sound on this site. LOL. I love the crystal clear water just pouring over the edge. Nice composition, PJ.
No drama, just fresh clean water from a spring making its perpetual way towards the streams and rivers and out to the oceans where it will rise once again into the atmosphere turning into clouds to rain on the mountains where it will feed the small springs so they can make their perpetual journey towards the streams and rivers..... Lovely, 'Lil PJ :)
Excellent choice of shutter speed. Just enough motion blur to give the sense of the flow of both time and the water, but fast enough to keep the sense of reality and freeze a moment in time. The soft warping of the reflections further emphasize the impending change as the water approaches the edge. As always, your composition impeccable.

You can only step into the stream the same way once. Yes, time moves along and water moving seems to well represent that idea. Thanks for bringing that up and for the wonderful visual image supporting that. Your stop action shutter speed is perfect.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

This is a neat image PJ. It may just be me, but if I turn my head a bit sideways, I see what looks to be the outline of a fairy bending in for a drink with winds stretched out behind her. (Top right of photo and my head turned to the right.) The illusion made by the folded water caught my eye right away.
I believe it's a waterfall for Phasmids. They gather to cleanse their wings and quench their thirst. Some of them go over the waterfalls on the backs of leaves, laughing and screaming as they go over the edge. What a lovely spot you Phasmids have. Very good PJ.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
