As the light played with the shadows on these trees last spring, seeing them again reminded me of what beauty lies ahead and what spring/summer pleasures are in store. I know I'm jumping ahead of myself a bit here, but what with the snowfall last Tuesday, I am a woman thirsty. :)PJ

I really like the tree that appears to have outstretched arms welcoming spring. It seems to be embracing the other trees or possibly leading a orchestra of fine musicians playing sweet sounds of spring. I can almost hear the birds singing. Come to Missouri and with all the rain and spring colors, I'm sure I could quench your thirst. Great post.

Beautiful foliage spread out in such a way as to give you a glimpse of the sky here and there. Very nice shot, PJ. By the way, if you had snow last Tuesday, you won't have any spring any more but will go straight into Summer. A sort of three seasons area you have, it seems. :)

I'm right there behind you desperate for the good weather to come too. We keep getting tantalising glimpses don't we, like your green woodland here. Oh for the long days tramping the countryside with a camera. Thanks for this reminder PJ, you got some lovely shapes in the trees here and gorgeous light illuminating it all from the right.

The weather has been a strange one this year that is for sure. But there is nothing strange about your presentation here. This is so well done in every way. I find these shots to be hard to capture and still have them look good enough for posting. You have done it justice lady. sandi ♪ ♫
