...in the botanical garden in Washington, DC over the weekend. I decided to upload this one first because it is a Thank You to everyone that came and made it all so enjoyable and special. Let's get together and do it again sometime and hopefully we'll get even more Caedesians "in the mood"! :)PJ

What an awesome shot. The framing, color, just everything is neat. It's simply and elegant. I have a desire to get into photography and visit botanical gardens, but the time constraints prohibit it. Thanks to all you who do such a splendid job already. It keeps that desire satisfied, by proxy.

Can't help it PJ, but your narrative is cryptical to me. Think I've missed some essential information to understand it. Your image however is a beautiful one.
Love the soft tones and the contrast. Just perfect!

To me it looks like a little angel flying looking down at all below. I can see the wings, the little head and the feet sort of tucked in. It has a gift basket on its back. Just lovely Peej.

As you can see I'm not quite right. I'm afraid I would be too much of a distraction at a get together of great photographers. Awesome post and welcome back. For some reason this song keeps playing in my mind.

Hi PJ...

A little late with my response...sorry...I think that it is great that you all enjoyed your time together...a marvelous experience...to be able to now connect faces...personalities...voices...humor...to combine your talents and learn from one another...really great...

This photo is beautiful PJ...rich in depth of color...clarity is outstanding...and my focus is directed immediately to the precious little white flower in the center...a dynamite image...but then your skills I make reference to... are not atypical..they are always...always characteristic of... and present in your work!! I will place this image in my favorites...and with pleasure!!

Until next time...

Marilyn

P.S.

I have mentioned before in my commentaries...to people...that while I realize that the C-index should remain a side issue...I still feel compelled at times...to mention that many images are more worthy than is made evident...so very often... This is one of those times! ;o)

Woow, just wooow... I love this one. The angle & the leaves give the flower a special frame, & along with the contrast between 'em, they are making the shot one of my favs :P. The leaves are like... 2 hands presenting me the flower (in a closeup angle :D).

Amazing work :)
