I'm still working on the story embedded in this stained glass window I found at the National Cathedral, but if anyone knows...please PM me.
I was so happy this turned out this well.

Stained Glass is rather hard to Capture. It never quite comes out as Beautiful as the Eye See's it.
Nice capture however. Like the many colors.
Thanks for sharing PJ.

Great PJ. The colors are just fantastic. This is hard to do and capture it as well as you did. One must understand the lighting. I think you have seen the light. To me the story represents rebirth and being saved from death. The child appears to have died and then resurrected. Probably one of the Apostles teaching belief.
Ok..lets see if I can explain this correctly. Usually the stain glass around a church is a representation of the Stations Of The Cross. Which is the story of Jesus' suffering during lent time: from His being condemned and His walk to the hill to be crucified. There were people that helped Him during His walk including His mother Mary. Thats what the right hand glass appears to be to me. The left glass I'm not sure about. If the church isn't representing the Stations they sometimes are stain glasses of the Apostles. But these to me are clearly the Stations of the Cross. I can see Jesus and His followers being there for Him and the pain and suffering in His face. This is just beautiful PJ!! A superb capture of such fine art!

Such a wonderful capture, PJ. I wish I knew the story behind these. It wasn't easy to capture these windows. I was unsuccessful, but Aaron has a few. I love the many colors in this one.
