Another sensational shot from Cassini sent back today feauring the diminutive moon Mimas as it drifts along in its orbit against the backdrop of Saturn's northern latitudes. The long, dark lines on the atmosphere are shadows cast by the planet's rings.

i still think space shots make the best all round desktop images. I never get tired of seeing images like this and I hope you lot dont either... so enjoy :-)

I remember how dissapointed I was with Cassini's first couple of images. They are spectacular now aren't they? There's a lot of detail in the tiny moon.
