The orbiter Discovery arrives inside the vehicle assembly building at Cape Canaveral in preparation for final assembly with the EFT and solid rocket boosters. Discovery is due to install an additional solar array to the ISS on it’s December flight.

that actually looks like the shuttle just came from a mission, not likeit'sgetting ready for one. nice post phil. get a little closer next time :P

yep they are definitely a bit battle scarred these days - but plummeting through the atmosphere for several decades will do that to you :-)
