The Tarantula Nebula is thought to contain more than half a million times the mass of the Sun in gas and hosts some of the most massive stars known. The nebula measures nearly 1,000 light-years across and if it were in our own Galaxy, it would cover one quarter of the sky and even be visible in daylight.

This shrunken version doesn’t really do justice to the 200MB+ original ESO image where the millions of stars can be seen with a lot more clarity but you get the general idea...

I've got a space spider in my gallery too..........doesn't look like this though. LOL Nice one Phil, it's really mind boggling to think of what's out there and we know nothing about it either.
